Outdoor decor and bringing the outdoors in, inspires me. My desire lately is to feel as close to the outdoors as possible. So I base all of my design decisions around this thought. Woods, trees, critters, flowers, plants, etc. are now all throughout my home and I love it. It adds a level of simplicity that calms me.
For instance, a lot of my decor now consists of a vase of sticks or a pile of rocks that are tastefully placed. I have a bin of firewood and a basket of blankets that are bonfire ready. Tree logs and stumps are now serving trays and stools. And the small details consist of elements that relate to the outdoors.
Many of the Anthropologie outdoor decor items I am sharing here are in my home and make me smile! I’m sharing them with you in the hopes that they inspire you and warm your heart. I should mention that I love whimsey. So I always look for unique items that I can tie in to make a space fun and engaging. Just trying to justify the puzzle picks. I’m telling you, anything with animals on it will get my attention!
