Cedarwood is a woodsy, warm scent that creates a relaxing, calm, and comforting atmosphere. It is heavenly. Not at all overpower as you might imagine a woodsy scent.
This essential oil is good for easing anxiety and is a great oil to use along with Lavender. It is a good oil for hair growth and enhancing the appearance of healthy looking hair. And lastly, it is a great natural deodorizer.
I use Cedarwood for a few different uses.
- I use it in my laundry detergent along with Lavender to help deodorize my clothes.
- Love putting a few drops in my mascara, to promote healthy lashes and hopefully lengthen them!
- Add a few drops to my shampoo or conditioner to help with healthy hair.
- Use in sleep spray in place of Roman Chamomile if you do not have it.
- Drop, drops directly on my head and rub into my hair as a natural diffuser.

I love woodsy scents and the idea of bringing the outdoors, indoors when it comes to home decor. I’m always looking for random sticks, rocks, branches and things I can bring inside. The stick in this pic is from a hike I took recently. I love the natural look of birchwood. I’m trying it as a natural diffuser, I just keep dropping drops on it to help create a nice aroma in various rooms in my house.
