Joy in a bottle? Yes, please.
Rumor has it, if you do not like the scent of an essential oil it actually means you need more of it. So when I opened the bottle of Joy for the first time, I was like, “Eww, yuck!” HAHA, yikes. This little bottle was telling me I need more joy?! I took this as a challenge and looked for ways to integrate it into my routine. Now, it is one of my favorites!
Joy is a lovely, sweet scent of citrus and floral essential oils and is quite feminine. It really creates a warm, inviting, and pleasant environment. It is very uplifting and instills happy and joyful feelings. I really thought this was funny when I first read this and even thought, yeah right. But it’s true, Joy really has a lot to offer and is mood changing. At least it has been for me.
I use Joy mostly as a special perfume, maybe not everyday but when I need it. I’ll also use it sometimes on my dryer balls, aka dryer sheets. I just do laundry for myself so this might not be the most manly scent. Try Purification too, this is a very unisex scent and great for laundry. This one isn’t in my top 12 but I talk about it in my Dryer Sheets post.
This is a really nice essential oil to have around. Randomly applying to wrists, neck, and heart whenever you need an uplift or a splash of joy is the best way to use it!
